David has an empathetic approach and understands how important it is for people to understand their future when developing a plan of action for each client.
“Uncertainty of legal process can be terrifying for people. My role as a lawyer is to give them a light at the end of the tunnel and to explain how we are going to get there, how long it will take, and how much it will cost.”
“If I was engaging a lawyer I would want them to be experienced, knowledgeable, empathetic, and reliable, to act in my best interests, and not overcharge me. These are the expectations that I strive to deliver to every client.”
David has worked on matters that are straightforward and routine, up to matters that are extremely complicated and require a very high degree of attention and diligence in every area of his practice. With almost 20 years of appearing in the Courts, David is an experienced Court advocate.
While David will staunchly argue a point in Court if needed, he understands that amicable agreement will almost always be the preferred approach and in all matters he will facilitate and encourage agreement to resolve matters where possible.
“The vast majority of people simply want closure and to move on with their lives. My job is to get them the best possible result in an economic way in both time and cost so that they can get back to the enjoyable parts of life.”
Outside of the office, David regularly starts his day at the gym or on a bike and holidays are mostly spent hunting deep powder on his snowboard.
